Cuvée Florence by Parker

The very famous Robert Parker – the « wine advocate » as he named himself – shares with us in his magazine what he thinks about our estate and our cuvée Florence :

Domaine Les Goubert (Gigondas)

One of this appellation’s top estates for nearly two decades, proprietor Jean-Pierre Cartier has turned out one of Gigongdas’ better 2004s. His 2004 Gigondas Cuvée Florence is a charming, dark ruby-colored effort revealing medium body abundant garrigue, sweet cherry, and raspberry characteristics, nd a hint of blue fruits. Pure and soft, it is ideal for drinking over the next 5-6 years.

The stronger, denser, richer 2005 Gigondas Cuvée Florence possesses a depp ruby/purple hue as well as fleshy, ripe notes of blueberries, raspberries, and cherries, soft tannins, and good acidity, freshness, and overall balance. It should drink well for a decade or more.
